Britney Spears has reportedly cut her family and old friends out of her life, blaming them for the decisions made by her recently sacked manager Larry Rudolph, whose decisions she didn’t agree with. The fall out was reportedly on the cards for months, but happened when Britney sacked manager Larry Rudolph (who she had re-hired as part of her comeback when she split with husband Kevin Federline late last year) last week. After the firing, her father Jamie, publicly criticized the decision in an article in the New York Post, calling his daughter “out of control.” Britney retaliated by telling the Post, “We have never had a good relationship. It’s sad that all the men that have been in my life do not know how to accept a real woman’s love.” She added: “I am praying for my father.” A source tells Us Weekly, “That’s her way to get back at people: She says, ‘You’re in my prayers.’” And Spears’ relationship with her mother, who she was particularly close with, has also deteriorated: “She feels her mother gave Larry Rudolph power: He handed her kids over to her ex,” explains the source. Another insider says, “Britney loves her mom and they talk almost every day, but they aren’t the most cordial conversations.” “She’s cut everyone out of her life, she says she doesn’t want to see anyone from her past.” |
