Britney ‘Furious’ over “Womanizer” Leak    ·    September 23rd, 2008

Britney is said to be ‘furious’ that her upcoming single Womanizer was leaked onto the internet.

The track was originally posted on YouTube — and made its way around the internet like wildfire after it was played on air by a Los Angeles radio station.

Bosses at Spears’ record label have been trying to keep the track under wraps for a massive relaunch in November — but are now hunting down an inside sneak who posted an ‘unfinished’ version of the song on the internet, along with private footage of her rehearsing in an LA dance studio.

A source tells Britain’s Daily Mirror newspaper, “Record company bosses have been frantically trying to pull the material from the internet.

“But anything about Britney spreads like wildfire.

“A minor LA radio station spotted it on YouTube and played a 40-second slot, which has now been picked up by hundreds of thousands of fans. Bosses are considering legal action when they find whoever leaked it.

“The track wasn’t finished. It’s not good for Britney’s comeback if people aren’t getting to listen to the polished version. It is a massive glitch in the promotional campaign the record company were planning to roll out.”

The source added, “She is finally getting herself back on the straight and narrow, but is still finding it hard to trust people again.

“The fact someone has secretly recorded rehearsals has really upset her.

“She’s really nervous about her comeback, probably more than last time.

“She was shaking like a leaf at the MTV awards recently.”
