Brittany, don’t let the bastards get you down. I am a topfree activist in Daytona Beach. I have been held up as an example before all the world, too. Big Brother and the media have had quite a time trying to knock me down. So far, I have always come out on top.
I have watched what they (the media)have done to you and often wished that I could speak to you and give you some encouragement. Stand your ground. Remember, the media simply waits for you to make your next move.
I am planning an International Women’s Day Topfree Peace Rally for next year and I am calling out to women of strength and beauty to join me. Come and raise your voice for women and women’s issues. Make a stand against the ones who have hurt you. Make a stand for peace. We need to take back control of our lives and show this world the power, strength, and beauty of our womanhood. I will tell you, as I tell all the women who come to my protests, “You don’t have to bare your breasts, just come and make a voice for women and women’s rights.”
Even if you don’t care to join me for the rally, I would love to have you call. Just to speak to you and give you some words of wisdom and encouragement from a woman who has been there and truly no longer knows any fear. I can’t imagine what you must be feeling on a daily basis. Continuously being put under a microscope for all to see.
You have made some mistakes, but don’t let them define who you are.
Although your career is important, your most important and rewarding job is parenting your children and if they are successful you have done your job as a parent.
DON’T LET THE MEDIA BRING YOU DOWN. Although you may have made mistakes in the past, you can make for a better future for you and your family. You are a strong and beautiful woman. Use this power in a positive manner.
You have the world at your finger tips, don’t let it slip away.
Surround yourself with people that you can trust and don’t expect anything from you in return. If you need help, don’t be afraid to ask for it. Let the media and others think what they want, what’s important is that you get yourself happy and healthy for you and your most important and prize possession, your children.
