Britney reveals wishes for 2007    ·    January 4th, 2007

Britney Spears had a very busy 2006 and, if her new year’s resolution is anything to go by, she’s hoping 2007 will be a lot quieter.

When asked for her resolutions, the ‘Toxic’ singer told TV show Extra: “Stop biting my nails. Just to take care of me more.”

But the 25-year-old mother of two has already caused a stir during the first days of the new year by falling asleep at the very same New Year’s Eve party where she was interviewed by Extra.

The singer fell asleep at her New Year’s Eve bash at the Pure nightclub in Las Vegas’ Ceasar’s Palace, prompting reports that she was drunk.

Her manager, however, claimed she was merely tired.

“By about one o’clock, she was just done, so we took her out,” Larry Rudolph said on Monday.

“She was not drunk. She was just tired and falling asleep.”

Although reports claimed she’d been carried out of the club’s rear exit with a coat over her head, Rudolph claimed Spears had walked out and not sought medical attention.

“There is nothing out of the ordinary here,” he said.

“She was absolutely not carried out of the club,” another source confirmed to People.

“Her security and Pure’s security walked her out… She didn’t pass out or faint or any of that.”

Since her split from husband Kevin Federline, Spears has been seen out partying with friends like Paris Hilton and snapped in various revealing poses. But, she seems to have had self-improvement on the mind.

In December, she admitted on her website: “I probably did take my new found freedom a bit too far.”

“Anyway, thank God for Victoria Secrets’ new underwear line!,” she joked.

“I look forward to a new year, new music and a new me.”

Spears’ husband, Kevin Federline, who she separated from in November last year spent his New Years Eve in Miami with an unknown blonde woman. He was partying at the Mansion nightclub alongside stars like Lindsay Lohan, Hilary Duff and Mandy Moore.
