Britney Spears‘ mum Lynne flew to Las Vegas in the wake of Britney’s collapse reports but when she found out her daughter was ok, she reportedly used the opportunity to let rip about Britney’s new partying lifestyle.

A source revealed: “Lynne heard reports that her daughter had been rushed from the Pure nightclub after collapsing. Like any concerned mum, she wanted to see Britney and boarded the first flight she could…”

“Lynne told Britney she has seriously got to calm down and that all this partying is no good for her. It all got a tad heated and there were a lot of things said.”

It sounds like Britney might have listened to her mum’s advice. According to Life & Style Weekly, she checked into the exclusive Sanctuary spa in Arizona on New Year’s Day “for some R&R” but it’s being seen as a pre-rehab stop too.

A source told the magazine: “With these celebrities, ‘exhaustion’ sometimes means something else and a little rest at a spa sometimes actually translates into something a little more serious.”
