Britney Spears isn’t going to be giving Kevin Federline $19 million in their divorce settlement. The singer has indeed agreed to give her estranged husband a specified cash-out deal, but it is not anywhere near the amount being reported in the media. TMZ.com says they know the real deal — and K-Fed ain’t getting anywhere near 19. The real story — put a decimal point between the 1 and the 9 and then reduce it significantly. TMZ has more: ‘As for why K-Fed isn’t in a position to bargain — Britney’s disso-queen lawyer, Laura Wasser, drafted an airtight prenup before the marriage. Kevin will end up pocketing around a mil. The divorce is winding its way to a quick end. Britney and Kevin are getting along, and they have agreed in principle to a custody arrangement. As TMZ first reported, there will be a 50/50 custody split for now, but in the long run , Britney will get primary custody.’ Britney’s sister Jamie Lynn and her mother Lynne have been staying at Kevin’ s house helping to look after the children while Britney was in rehab. The source added: “Her time in rehab showed Britney that Kevin loves his kids and is a good dad.” Britney and Kevin reportedly had an “amazing” meeting on Sunday (18.03.07), where they hammered out the terms of their divorce. Britney was released from rehab Tuesday (20.03.07). The ‘Toxic’ singer has completed her almost one-month-long programme at Malibu’s Promises Centre. The star has since attended Alcoholics Anonymous meetings. Her one-month stay in rehab is unusually short. A typical stay at Promises lasts around 45 days. |
