Britney’s Father: She’s A Sick Little Girl    ·    February 23rd, 2007

A picture surfaced Friday showing Britney Spears beating a parked car with an umbrella reportedly after Kevin Federline refused to let her see their two children, and her father described the fallen pop princess as “a sick little girl.”

Britney’s father, Jamie Spears, said the problems she is facing are “not about what other people think.” He said he and Spears’ mother are “concerned about our daughter,” who he called “a sick little girl”.

Spears entered a rehab center in Antigua a week ago today but left less than 24 hours later and flew back to the Southland, where she shaved her head at a Tarzana hair salon, then went and got tattoos at a parlor in Sherman Oaks.

On Tuesday, she checked into the Promises Treatment Center in Malibu, left within a few hours, but checked into rehab once again late Wednesday.

Spears and Federline currently share custody of their two children, 5-month-old Jayden James and 17-month-old Sean Preston. Spears filed for divorce in November, and both she and Federline are seeking custody of the children.

Spears showed up at Federline’s house to see the children Wednesday night, but he wouldn’t let her in, the celebrity-news Web site TMZ.com reported.

Spears then exploded in a violent, uncontrollable rage, according to the New York Daily News, which on Friday published a picture of Spears — clad in gym shorts, sneakers, a sweatshirt and a string of pearls — beating an empty car with a furled umbrella.

Her mother, witnessing the outburst from a parked car, later persuaded Spears to return to Promises, the Daily News reported.

Friends of Federline told the newspaper he won’t seek legal action to remove the children from Spears’ legal custody as long as she gets treatment.

While Spears once again attempts the required 30-45 days in rehab, her children will be in the joint custody of her mother and Federline, who have put their differences aside for the sake of Spears’ babies, according to the Daily News.
