The recent breakdown of Britney Spears has rippled through the industry to reach the patience of singer-songwriter, Ne-Yo. According to a published report, he had written four songs for the pop star to use on her upcoming album, but things skidded to a sudden halt after Spears had her public meltdown and had to go into rehab. Now stuck with four hot songs without a home, Ne-Yo says he may just give them to Nicole Sherzinger, the lead singer of The Pussycat Dolls. Explaining his Britney frustrations, Ne-Yo said: “We set up no less than four sessions for Britney to just come and listen to the songs I wrote for her. She never showed up, says Contact Music. “I think they want me to hold these songs that I’ve written until she finishes going through her thing. But a couple might be perfect for The Pussycat Dolls’ Nicole Scherzinger.†|
