As originally reported by OK! Wednesday night, witnesses at a small airport in Van Nuys, Calif., spotted Britney Spears and her married boyfriend, paparazzo Adnan Ghalib, boarding a private jet believed to be bound for Cabo San Lucas, Mexico.

And then there were strongly supported rumors that the singer and her cuddly cameraman had actually jetted off to Maui, where Brit had been known to go for rest and relaxation in the past. These whispers were so convincing that three of the biggest paparazzi agencies each rushed a handful of photogs to Hawaii to say “aloha” to Brit.

However, soon came reports that the plane was actually headed for New Jersey’s Teterboro Airport, 12 miles west of Manhattan, where paparazzi (including ones she hasn’t dated!) were eagerly awaiting her arrival. So obviously she was coming to the Big Apple, yes? In fact, the owner of one of Brit’s favorite clubs had been told to keep his doors open late because the 26-year-old mother of two was going to be popping in before last call.

And then this morning, it’s being confirmed that Brit and Adnan have indeed surfaced in Mexico and that the New York City story was an elaborate ruse to throw off the scent of reporters.

Britney Spears’ former publicist Lizzie Grubman is shocked at the turn of events in Britney’s life.

“Never in a million years would I have believed it would go this way!” she tells Us Weekly in its new issue, on newsstands now. “When I first started working with her she was this humble, sweet little girl.”

Grubman blames her problems on that fact that Spears “didn’t have a childhood which made everything worse,” she says.

“There is still a real girl in there, but she’s shutting people out and doesn’t want to trust anybody,” she adds. “It’s all very tragic and sad how it turned out.”

Instead of using one of the horrible and sad pictures of Britney strapped on a stretcher as their cover, People magazine decided to use this old and beautiful shot of Britney from when she was in a better place in her life. And it seems they are focused on telling “The Real Story,” should be an interesting read.

No other agencies seem to have pictures like this one, which makes me think that Adnan tipped off his little agency on his and Britney’s whereabouts. Of course! Britney, wake up!

Naked photos of troubled pop princess Britney Spears - taken by her paparazzo boyfriend Adnan Ghalib have reportedly been sold to an Australian magazine for $57,000 - a far cry from the $5 million Adnan’s agency Finalpixx were asking from the British tabloids.

According to X17, the photos “are shots of Britney wearing just a t-shirt.”

The website then speculates: “we guess it’s the night she was with him on the balcony, sharing the lollipop and she was wearing a t-shirt with no pants and a jacket.”
Adnan’s agency are also reportedly planning to launch a website based on their big exclusive, and they’ve got one photo up and a single story “announcing” the British paps’ relationship with Britney.

Celeb website TMZ reported earlier that the semi-nude pics of Ms Spears have been sent on to editors at various U.S. weeklies. One source says a major U.S. weekly was pitched the photos this week, but passed.

Denying online reports, Alli Sims, Britney Spears’ cousin and former assistant, tells Usmagazine.com that her reality show has not been canceled and her trip to New York over the weekend – when Spears was hospitalized – was not an affront to their relationship.

“While Britney was being hospitalized in LA, Alli, her supposed best friend, was self-promoting in NYC,” an “insider” told Life & Style.

“These claims are ridiculous,” Sims tell Us. “I had plans for a girls weekend, and my friends had already flown into town to meet up with me. Yes, I continued with my plans that included going to dinner and a club. How was I to predict what would happen the weekend I was gone?”

Oh Britney, he’s no good for you!

Last Thursday night, Britney Spears’ apparent mental illness — speculated to be anything from bipolar disorder to postpartum depression — was undeniable to the world.

“She needs to be on suicide watch,” her aunt, Chanda McGovern, tells Us Weekly in its latest issue.

The nightmare scenario came to a boil when Spears, frustrated by a custody deposition earlier in the day, refused to turn over her sons, Sean, 2, and Jayden, 16 months, to ex-husband Kevin Federline’s bodyguard as planned at 7 p.m.

When Mark Vincent Kaplan, Federline’s attorney, appeared to show the court papers of the visitation, the singer “lost it,” an insider told Us. “She screamed, ‘Get him out of my house!’ She hates Kaplan.”
