Did Kevin Federline cheat on Britney Spears? That’s what one publication appears to be ready to report in its upcoming edition.

This week’s Star Magazine looks like it’s ready to drop a bombshell accusation on K-Fed. The cover shows a photo of Brit and baby Sean Preston in Malibu and the headline screams: KEVIN CHEATS ON BRIT!

This should get interesting. Was it when Kevin ‘wasn’t kicked out of the house?’ Was it on the first trip to Vegas? Oh the humanity. Indeed Britney Spears has had a busy time of late. The pop tart has been in the Sin City of Las Vegas twice, wandered Malibu getting her hair trimmed (or extensions pulled) and has done some shopping. The paparazzi have been in tow and Kevin is rarely shown in the pictures.

Does that prove he’s on the prowl? Nah, but I’m guessing The Star will have a lot more.

It seems pop princess Britney Spears has tough luck as far as real estate issues are concerned. The singer suffered a loss of more than 1 million dollars after the value of her New York apartment dropped steeply in just three months.

The ‘Toxic’ singer’s swish pad in New York was first put on the market at 6 million dollars , but is now being offered for 4.95 million dollars, reports Contactmusic.

Spears has owned the three-bedroom apartment for several years, but first decided to put it on the market when she became pregnant and opted to move to the US west coast with husband Kevin Federline. This is the second time in recent years Spears has suffered a property flop in Manhattan.

In 2002, she was forced to close her restaurant venture, Nyla, due to flagging interest from New York diners, leaving behind an estimated 400,000 dollars worth unpaid bills.

Britney Spears and Kevin Federline showed a united front as they helped the pop star’s dad launch his new computer programme venture that helps wannabe poker promoters run their own card tournament at home.

The couple weren’t talking to the press at the low-key event, held at Las Vegas, Nevada’s Palms Hotel + Casino on Thursday (05JAN06), but they were obviously still very much an item, despite recent reports they’re on the verge of splitting up.

The couple arrived at the party hand in hand and Britney spent much of the evening right next to her husband.

Spears’ mum Lynn laughed off split reports and claims that Federline is spending his wife’s money on his partying lifestyle, insisting instead, “He’s very special, I’m very close to Kevin.”

Jamie Spears’ Palms Home Poker Host is a joint venture between Britney’s dad and Palms owners the Maloof brothers.

Britney Spears’ hubby Kevin Federline has failed to find a label to invest in his talents, but has vowed to release his debut rap single himself.

Or more likely with Brit’s help.

The UK Sun reports:

On the father of three’s own website www.KevinFederline.com the wannabe star pokes fun at all the bad press he has received since marrying pop princess Britney Spears.

Headlines such as Divorce Britney Now and Get Out are followed by Kevin’s warning…”never judge a book by its cover”.

“I’m coming…2006,” he adds.
